VP of Product - Develop a culture and a product strategy reporting directly to the CEO.

Your mission is to develop a culture and a product strategy, leading leaders, embracing and fueling the vision, while bringing new products to market by analyzing the creators economy and other opportunities.

You will work in an entrepreneurial ecosystem on the raise, very related with your personal growth. You will access the board meetings, participate in the vision discussion and will have a relationship with current investors.

In order to be successful in this role, you will be able to have an amazing contribution and impact acting as a leader in different areas: 

As a product strategy leader

  1. Create a short, medium and long term product vision & strategy with the rest of the team. 
  2. Align business & product objectives and key results. Analyze initiatives and think up new ones being the impact owner. 
  3. Analyze past initiatives and extract key conclusions of the product. 
  4. Lead initiatives with high levels of uncertainty, from discovery to successful adoption. 
  5. Define quarterly product OKRs and drive different projects and actions to achieve them. 

 As a company leader

  1. Translate the Company vision into a Strong Product Vision and Product Strategy. 
  2. Bring structure, clarity and new insights to ambiguous or complex problems.
  3. Create & spread a common vision of the company and the product. 
  4. Share & spread knowledge throughout the organization about product management. 
  5. Inspire a contagious optimism in leaders and stakeholders to face challenges with enthusiasm and conviction.

As a leader of team leaders 

  1. Structure and Build the team: Understand interdependencies between teams, aligning team missions with business & product criteria.
  2. Attract new talent to the company that promotes a high-performance culture.
  3. Create & train a common culture of product with principles, hows, and best practices. 
  4. Ensure roles, responsibilities on daily basis, and other projects. 
  5. Help the team to work with visibility, quality, timing, and value orientation.
  6. Develop the Analytical Mindset of the team with a user-centric approach.
  7. Promote a culture of wellbeing, continuous learning, development, and high performance.


Long story, short: How will be your first days in Streamloots?

The first month: For the first few weeks, we will make sure you know your impact on the team, company, and the business, you will learn everything necessary to know about the people and our processes. You will put your focus on understanding the product, the user, and the business needs, which is a key success factor. Please note remote onboarding due to COVID-19 will not be an issue. ;)

First Quarter: Little by little, you will begin to participate in the C-level meetings, providing your vision and encouraging new initiatives, you will hold one to ones with the leaders of teams, in order to align their expectations with business and personal advancement. You will not be expected to change the company from the very beginning, since we understand that you will have to take some time first to adapt yourself to the team and the processes to lead them. After this process, you will become a role model who will inspire the rest of the company and will impact our high-performance culture.

You’ll be successful in your mission if you have: 

  • 4+ Years Leading a Product Team or a product chapter in full digital-product companies and proven experience creating autonomous teams to help the team to keep growing in high-performance culture.
  • 4+ Years working in Product Area (Product Management, UX, Product Analysis, Product designing, etc) It is important you can learn, understand and develop great practices aligned with our product and business challenges.
  • Experience leading, mentoring and inspiring other Product Managers to become a leader of leaders by multiplying your impact in the company.

  • Enough technical fluency in software engineering to know what is possible, what is easy, and what is hard; to talk to engineering teams about how platform design choices affect user-facing features and vice versa; and to have a reasonably accurate intuitive sense for the size and scope of features as you design them.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to deal with complexity. Proactivity and Self-Leadership are becoming key essential words in our conversations every day.
  • Native or fluent in English. Lately, more native English people have joined our company in its various areas. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is native English or very fluent in the language. Additionally, it would be helpful if you also knew Spanish.

Also means that all processes need to be thought of as if we had no office and everyone is working remotely.   • Competitive salary and stock option plan. We are working to align our budgets with the market and we believe in that our salary packages are deeply competitive. For this position we have a competitive salary range up to 80k-110k€ (open to negotiating depending on value proposition and geographical precedence) + stock options plan.


How is the selection process structured:

  1. The first interview with our People Specialist team will evaluate your general fit within the role and the company. You will have the opportunity to further discuss the current situation of Streamloots, general expectations of the role, culture, and values.
  2. A second interview with Alberto, our CEO, where you will explore business & product vision together. Alberto will explain to you how the product is performing and how you are expected to contribute in the vision development process.
  3. A hands-on workshop with the CEO about Business, Product Strategy & Product team management case to demonstrate your technical & management abilities as a Head of Product of a startup.
  4. Final interview with other C-level & other stakeholders to further discuss the business case and deliver excellence in a high-quality conversation. They will want to know you better and you will have the chance to cover any missed gap to make sure this is the perfect match role for yourself.
